Primobolan Acetate (Oral)
A profile on the rare oral version of Primobolan, one of the few oral steroids that is not liver toxic.
Primobolan Acetate (Oral)
Primobolan Acetate (Metenolone Acetate) is the oral form of the famous Primobolan steroid.
It is unique in the world of oral steroids because it is not C-17 alpha-alkylated. This means it does not put significant stress on the liver. However, this also means the liver destroys a large percentage of the drug before it enters the bloodstream, making it very expensive to run effectively.
Quick Specs
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Active Compound | Metenolone |
| Half-Life | ~4-6 Hours |

Mechanism of Action
Metenolone is a DHT derivative. The oral version uses the Acetate ester (the injectable usually uses Enanthate). Because it lacks the 17aa protective group, its oral bioavailability is poor.
It works primarily by binding to the androgen receptor and increasing nitrogen retention. It has zero estrogenic activity.
Pharmacokinetics & Dosing
Half-Life: ~4-6 Hours
- Frequency: Multiple times per day (2-3 doses) to maintain stable levels.
- Dosage: Because absorption is poor, high doses are needed. Men typically need 100mg - 150mg per day to see anabolic results.
- Women: Very popular among female athletes due to low virilization risk. Typical dose: 25-50mg/day.
Primary Effects
1. Muscle Preservation
It is one of the best compounds for retaining muscle while in a caloric deficit.
2. Safety
It is widely considered one of the safest steroids in existence due to lack of liver toxicity and zero aromatization.
3. Hardness
Provides a dry, cosmetic look similar to Anavar or Masteron.
Side Effects & Harm Reduction
Cost Barrier:
Financial Toxicity: The main "side effect" of oral Primo is the cost. To run it at effective dosages (100mg+ daily) is extremely expensive compared to almost any other compound.
1. Hair Loss
As a DHT derivative, it can accelerate hair loss in those prone to MPB.
2. Lipid Profile
While milder than other orals, it will still suppress HDL cholesterol to some degree.
Tracking Oral Primo
Using the Anabolic Tracker app:
- Inventory: Add Primobolan Acetate (Oral).
- Scheduling: Twice or Three times Daily.
- Metrics: Track Body Fat % and Weight. Don't expect scale weight to jump; look for visual changes in the mirror.
