Selank
Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide derivative of the naturally occurring peptide Tuftsin. It was developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
It is primarily an anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) peptide. Unlike benzodiazepines (Xanax/Valium) which sedate you and dull your mind, Selank reduces anxiety while sharpening the mind. It is considered a "Nootropic Anxiolytic."

Mechanism of Action
- GABA Modulation: It modulates the GABA receptors (the "calm down" receptors) effectively but subtly.
- BDNF: Like Semax, it increases Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor, supporting brain health.

Dosing Protocol
- Intranasal: 1-2 sprays in each nostril, 3 times a day.
- SubQ Injection: 100mcg - 300mcg per day. SubQ is generally considered more cost-effective and consistent.
