TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4)
A profile on the synthetic version of Thymosin Beta-4, used for muscle recovery, flexibility, and reducing inflammation.
TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4)
TB-500 is the synthetic version of the naturally occurring peptide Thymosin Beta-4. It is often stacked with BPC-157 for injury rehab.
While BPC-157 focuses on angiogenesis and tendons, TB-500 focuses on actin upregulation and inflammation reduction. It promotes cell migration to the site of injury.
Quick Specs
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Active Compound | Thymosin Beta-4 Fragment |
| Half-Life | ~24-48 Hours (Longer systemic effect) |
| Mechanism | Actin sequestration / Cell migration |
| Administration | Subcutaneous (SubQ) |
Mechanism of Action
TB-500 upregulates Actin, a cellular protein essential for muscle contraction and cell structure. This allows cells to migrate to the injury site faster.
It also acts as a potent anti-inflammatory agent and has been shown to prevent the formation of scar tissue (fibrosis) in the heart and muscles.
Pharmacokinetics & Dosing
Dosing Protocol
Unlike BPC-157 (daily), TB-500 is often dosed less frequently due to its mechanism.
- Loading Phase: 2mg - 5mg per week for 4 weeks (split into 2 shots).
- Maintenance Phase: 1mg - 2mg once per month or every 2 weeks.
- Injection: Systemic. SubQ in belly fat is standard.
Primary Effects
1. Muscle Recovery
Speeds up recovery from muscle tears and strains.
2. Flexibility
Users often report a loosening of tight muscles and improved range of motion.
3. Hair Growth
Thymosin Beta-4 plays a role in hair follicle growth; some users notice thicker hair.
Side Effects & Harm Reduction
The Stack:
BPC + TB-500: These two are almost always run together for injuries. BPC builds the scaffolding (blood vessels/collagen), TB-500 moves the workers (cells) to the site.
1. Fatigue
Some users report feeling tired or "flu-like" symptoms on injection days.
Tracking TB-500
Using the Anabolic Tracker app:
- Inventory: Add TB-500.
- Scheduling: Twice Weekly (during loading) then Bi-Weekly.
- Metrics: Track Injury Recovery.
